Hey guys, as stated in the title I want to track down a 620 Ute.
Prefer a styleside (tub) version but will happily look at a tray back and whack a tub on it later.
Prefer one in reasonable condition as it'll be my daily for a while until the Skyline is back on the road.
Let me know what you have or if you know of any around.

The Rare Spares one looks exactly like what you're after but would be worth having a look first.

Might sound silly but what about a fibreglass bonnet? The standard bonnets are pretty flimsy so might fibreglass might muffle the sound a bit without adding too much weight.

Try Metro Bolts in Richmond, they have an amazing amount of random nuts and bolts. i'd be surprised if they didn't have one.
Worth a try anyway!

Get a bigger lever!

If when you say "all ring up" that the hex s gone off the bolts then you're in a bit of trouble! You'll need to either die grind off the heads of the bolts or weld something on to them to get them off.

When you're talking heat, you don't want to heat the nut, you want to warm the housing around the nut to make it expand away from the nut. it should work ok too as the alloy will expand at a lot faster rate than the nut.
