They class it as a sprint so don't need a cage and only need clubsport licence. Have to do duel car sprints first to workout time then can race 6 at a time. Ment to be on the grid fastest to slowest.

Have not done much to the car over last few months except suck a bit of drain pipe up to the filter for a pit of cold air. Been to a couple of track days and run a few high 1.28 laps.

Photo from latest track day. Rollcage probably not a bad idea.

Went to track today. Had great wether and a small field of car (more runs for me). Tires made a huge difference ran constant 1.29 all day. Best was 1.29.06
Had a few traction issues out of hairpin but the happens when the inside wheels are not touching the ground! My gps #OOPS# itself so couldn't use my track timer.
Grip sorted now i need more power! its a vicious cycle.

Camber plates are noltec from a r30 skyline. They have two alloy plates with a steel one between. Steel one has the pillow ball and can move to give you camber and caster. They just squash together so hopefully they won't move from driving.

Track day on next weekend. Had front tires fitted to sum 35 offset rims, fitted camber plates and managed to fit the 205 with no rubbing.
also got me a cheap fiberglass seat. Keen too see what sort of difference these tires make.

Next intermarque sprints on 1 April and manawatu car club on 15 April. There is other stuff on before then but you need a rollcage.

Scored sum half worn r888 toyos off a guy who up graded his breaks on a gtir and couldn't fit 14s any more.
They are 205/55/14s. I will put these on for the next track day and not touch anything else to see how much difference just the tires make.
