I second that!!!!!!
for your bolt(s) go to a local supply house and ask for them the one you are looking for should be 8mmx5 in. either that or go to a dealer and ask them to order you some.

the fan is there to help prevent the gas in the carb from boiling. because of the way they were built, F10's had a tendency to get very hot around the carb, which would actually cause a problem similar to vapor locking, somewhere on the motor (intake I think) there is a thermo switch that controlls it. also, the clutch diaphram springs tended to get stiffer with age and would cause the thrust surface on the crank to wear, making the crank unusable, whenever you change the clutch, change that spring.

DD, the L series uses a different setup to drive the dist. there is a spindle shaft that goes into the timing cover that is driven off the crankshaft. it turns both the oil pump, and the dist. if someone has changed the timing chain or pulled and replaced the oil pump things may not line up as they were when new.

the firing order is 1-3-4-2, #1 cyl. is obviously the most forward one. the location on the dist. cap is something else as someone may have changed the location
