Im actually looking forward to next week , when the cutting starts . The front passenger sill will be cut out to reach the hole in the upper firewall and to cut the side . Water naturally travels down and so does the rust , leaving its mark from top to bottom . Most likely the dash needs to be removed . In the engine bay between the shock / strut and firewall top corner is a hole the size of your fist. It goes straight through and also goes down the pillar to the bottom sill both sides. Besides a hole in each quarter of the the floor , the rear shelf from the wheel arch to the rear is rusted of on right side. I havent been able to find a replacement part as they only supply ute tray patches. The channel are different. The top of the rear window lip will be cut out and a new piece made and welded back in. and the rear sill too. There will be about a dozen patches done

D , in Europe you can buy a G-Class Merc or M5 BMW with factory bomb proof chassis and bullet proof glass
Im really pissed about the rust and bog . I got this wagon under the pretense that it was all cleaned up proper. I had this wagon advertised with very minor rust and straight not that long ago . I am not in the habit of smiling and ripping people off. There are 5 major rust spots and copious amounts of bog.
