Welcome !! Great project... if you are looking at around 100hp, it may be cheaper to stroke it with either A14 or A15 crank than to build a 100hp A12 engine. I dont know how big your budget is or how readily available and expensive the parts are over there. So make a budget and work out the best bang for your buck and stick to it. The cheapest would probably be to turbo it, if your into that. If not, your looking at atleast twin carbs, decent pistons and compression and a fair amount of head work.

Ohhhhh never thought of a Time Bandit !! But if I had to guess... Ummm quad turbo Briggs N Stratton with Tomei pistons on methonal and stage 5 N2/O... Their was a 1200 coupe in the street behind me yrs ago , ran a leyland all alloy 3.5 didnt have scoop, it fitted under. Another in my area running VL 3.0L and has scoop.... Luv the pic though

Aussie gallon is about 4.5L. US is 3.8 ??? What rpm were you sitting on with 5sp + 3.7 ratio on 60 miles /100klm ??

I heard the same as A14forced: S/C motors dont need larger valves like N/A motors cause it's forced in anyway. And Larger exhaust on a turbo

I remember those vid's D. Mate ya gettin old . That was closer to 25yrs ago. That inspired my HB Torana with the Buick 232 v6.
