yes the idle screw is been adjusted that was a different problem all toghther it wouldnt go down revs at certain point even if u took out screw then i figured there a adjustment of cable inside the car above speed!

any one got a heater tap they want to sell me that in working order for a datsun 120y mine is leaking every were on my carpet from the shaft thing.

tried every were cant find any also dont want to modify anything!

yer its okay not bad just wanted to get rid of it might readjust the point again its like 48 degrees might adjust to 52 deg

o ok thanks one more question is the idle mixture screw ment to do anything to revs because when engine is on i can screw it in fully or out and it does nothing??

ok so i have set the timing as told to me yestuerday by dicconecting the vacumm!

now all i need to fin is that the idle isnt consistent it goes high and low very slightly like 50rpm fluctuations up and down any ideas on the fix??

just rebuilt ay engine thought the smoke was the rings but to my suprise the valve stem seals were all hardend and crack to small pices thats what caused oil to burn in my a12!
