so does the 120y have a tourque converter drain plug i never knew it did!

hi i have recently bought a datsun 120y and want to replace the tauto trasnmission oil because it gone brownish burnt colour so i was wandering how you would go about empting the torque coverter as i dont want to leave any old fluid in there!
is there any way to blow it out with compresed air from near the filter maybe???

hi i have a Datdun 120y i was wandering were people get most of thier parts that they cant get from normal auto part stores i looked every were including wrekers for a carby spacer and no wer to be seen!
were can i get one any one have one mine cracked and need one asap!

hi hi have got a datsun 120y and just bought second hand extractors and was wandering what people do with the inlet manifold heater valve thing because its attached to the origional exhaust manifold so do u just block it of with a piece of stell plate also will this affect the operation of the car????

how do i take the power valve out and what will need replacing the whole thing or is their somthing inside.

hi thanks for the reply i was thinking of filing it with a file. why would i need to rebuild the power valve just out of curiosity is this the one on the top cover with a spring in it how do you take it out i tried but couldnt what needs rebuilding in this item??

hi i have recently bought a datsun 120y it has a a12 engine and i had to replace the manifold heater box gasket so i took every thing out but know i cant seem to get the gasket from any auto part stores and also the carby base plate spacer thing i cant seem to find! any i deas were i can get these???

Also i have rebuilt the carby and i put the top body to the other part of the carby and it dosnt seem to sit flat you can clearly see light on the other side this was niot like this before i opened it it looks high were the screws go and lower in the middle soo confused! any ideas will be nice!
