yeah definately is a stanza 5 speed, on the side of the bellhousing is 60, but besides that, the guy i bought the engine off posted this up : http://datsun1200.com/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=50870the gears work like this : R 2 4 | | | 1 3 5 so an auto 120y tailshaft would fit nicely? i guess ill go measure it and go find one at the wreckers

Hi guys,
i have an a15 with a stanza 5 speed bolted up to the back of it, whacked it in today went to bolt up the tailshaft and its 40mm too short.... had a thought of makeing a spacer at the back where the tailshaft connects to the diff using longer bolts made of a harder steel so they dont brake but was wondering if anyone else knows what i can do? tailshaft out of a stanza or any other datsun? really could use some advice as i dont want to go down the road of getting someone to make a tailshaft up for me,
Dion :)

usually the "bosozoku" style car community use negative offsets, eg. -36 ( Fon22y TA22 celica ) using a wider rim with a low profile tyre and a thinner tyre then recommended for the rim, giving a stretched tyre effect, very popular in japanese car enthusiast communities :)
