fitting a 1400 head to a 1200

hey guys,

have any of you fitted a 1400 head on a A-12? how much of mission was it does it bolt straight on? and what sort of power gain is there? is it cheap horse power

hey guys how much of a mission is it to turbo charge a 1200? would you have to go to fuel injection or could you use a carb? ive seen pics in the photo album of boxes with the carb inside it, and others with the carb bolted to the turbo.

what i'm basicly after is to make 100hp+ on the wheels, ive done the usual mods all ready, but i dont want to put in a bigger engine!! i would like to make big power with a small engine .

all comments and segestions would be great, could some one also tell me the cost of fitting a turbo.

hey guys,
those of you with A-12's how did you fit your extracters, with the inlet manifold bolted to the exhaust manifold. surely you'll need to get the inlet manifold heated up now .

what should an A-12 run at? i'm running at about 80-85 degrees celcius.
and do you think the cooler it runs the better for performance?

hey guys a few posts back i asked why my 1200 would not pull past 140kph, well i went home last night and pulled my timing cover off. it was 1 tooth out. set it to stock timing and oh my what a differance pulls right off the clock in 4th more driveable.

maybe you saw 9.9 through the haze of your spliff but it was actully 19.9
