hi guys
I'm starting to work out what i need to make up the oil lines to the turbo.im running a garrett turbo which has two tags on it "GT3071R" and "GT2835-56T".What i was planning on doing was removing the standard oil feed block from the motor and getting a fitting from the block to -4 AN then run to the turbo inlet with braid.
What i cant find is a fitting to suit the thread in the engine block once i've removed the standard elbow. ive tried 1/8" NPT which is tappered thread, didnt work. Can someone advise me if its a metric or imperial thread? i was thinking 1/8 BSP or M10 x 1mm??
Another thing im not to sure about is that the original elbow has a restrictor in it. Because im removing that fitting do i still have to run a restrictor at the turbo inlet? turbo is ball bearing.

Last one is ive purchased a turbo inlet fitting which is a male inverted flare 7/16" -24 short. it threads well into the turbo inlet but seem to reach the seat in the turbo after just 2 - 2.5 turns. it seem to be sealing good but the fitting seems to stick out a fair bit? has anyone encounted this before? different fitting or leave it as is?

any advive is greatly appreciate guys

cheers
Rob

its not a maddat setup, i think it's a custom made one

cheers

looks good shoota,
spewing about the upside down one... you gonna be able to get the locking nut and seat off? pretty sure the thread stops a couple of mm before the end?
cutting it off isnt an option?
