What's the go with the front section missing? Has he made it removable or does is just not have one. Also if it is removable what is the process involved to make it like this and does it compromise much strength?

G'day guys. I know this is way out of our field but does anyone know anything or have any experience with the Holden or isuzu piazza turbo. I have been offered one for what I think is cheap but I know next to nothing about them so just wondering if someone could shed a bit of light on them? cheers P.S. I need another car while the dat is still on stands

On the same note as dodgeman there is a rolled over silvia with ca18det going for about 3500 or there abouts in the tradingpost at the moment. Could be worth a look?

I'm not too familia with the celica models but I know that some celica owners pinch struts out of the same year coronas because you can then use hilux 4-spotters and some larger disc. I have a friend who did this to his corona so if you are interested I'll get more info.

That's a pretty clever idea dude! For now I'm just gonna work on getting it running smoothly. I actually tested out the AFM and ECU on a mates silvia before trying to wire it up just to eliminate some possibilities. Fuel pressure could be the problem but hopefully I'll get myself a new set of O-rings soon. I got a bit carried away late last night and got a few comments this morning from my folks regarding starting an exhaust free engine.

It's alive! Sorry chris I didn't take record the starting because my useless digi cam doesn't record sound! Anyway it's running fairly smoothly but doesn't want to rev, I don't have a tacho plugged in so I don't know what sort of revs it's doing but it reaches a point and splutters and won't rev any higher? Could this just be a timing thing, because I have had the CAS out, or something else. Also it seems I've wrecked an O-ring on injector 1 and am getting some leakage from it's back end.

Been piss farting around with my motor and we seem to be slowly eliminating possible problems, but just tonight we seemed to conclude that all 4 injectors were not working. When the ignition is on the fuel pump goes for a few seconds then turns off like it should. I've had the CAS out and when it is turned by hand it's supposed to make the injectors fire with the ignition on however they do not. I borrowed a manifold and fuel rail from a mate and with his injectors plugged in they fired. From this the obvious thing would be to conclude that my injectors are stuffed but it just seems strange that all 4 of mine would be. Just wondering if anyone could second the fact that all 4 injectors could be stuffed and if so what other possible damage could be done to the engine that I don't know about? Sorry about the long thread... cheers
