A limited number of jukes run the r35 gtr drive terrain...and have been upsetting many a cars on the dragstrip.Couple of videos on youtube showing quartermile times of juke r35 gtr running gear vs r35 gtr

Flatto,
That makes alot sense what you said about concept to production.
For the sake of the forum, assuming you have been tasked with developing a new 1200,Would you mind posting your sketch of a 2016 datsun 1200?

Hey mate,
Just food for thought, could be an option if your still going to pay someone to mod a tailshaft.
maybe get an aluminium/alloy tailshaft from the wreckers and get it modified to suit?
Some ford models came with aluminium tailshafts from factory.

Cylons8,
"absolute" was not a preferable term to use as it will depend on different individuals' opinions ;)

"Doing the best you can with what you have access to is what passion is all about."
I also see your point of view of working with whats available to someone. But on the same token, owners of cars like bugatti veyrons, ferraris, lamborghinis etc etc (who will probably never hold a spanner or fix rusty panels) are passionate about their cars.

Personally,in my opinion, there is no doubt the owner is passionate about his cars. Its not everyday you come across cars parked inside houses. And the pictures of the ones i've seen are usually of exotic, expensive or rare cars not a datsun 1200 ute...
I also don't know the owners history but one can clearly see alot of effort and money have gone into that 1200 ute.My guess based on the other cars he owns, would say its prob a bare metal restoration.

ddgonzal,
any more pics? What were the other two cars??
i see their child has a mini gtr toy .

lol D
your post made my day!
Don't we all have a datsun passion.
Thanks for the laughs!!!

Can you imagine your neighbours reaction when you open the front door to park your cars inside?
I wonder which country this is in as i am aware guys in dubai have lifts designed to transport and park their cars in their apartments.
i can spot an r32gtr parked inside also.not sure if the the other car is an a ra28 celica.

Those are lap records of all jcca cars/classes including gtrs and 240z.
Many people are not aware how quick this b110s and b310s are !!!

Have a look at the website link i provided and Maybe use google translator.
Also another interesting thing i came across is that the a12 powered cars are quicker than the a14 powered cars..No idea why but my guess would be the weight difference?
