yeah it is posiible 2 get tha silvia hub 2 fit ive heard not sure but my mate has a vn v8 disc brake's on the front of his ute so im pritty sure u could get a 5stud on the front but why when there are only 4 studs on diff! dont u think it will look abit funny? or u wanna do conversion allway around?

properely locked is good on street i no that cause my dad had it in his 9'' diff in his dodge im might lock my standard diff with welder till get a proper diff i no its dogdy but it will only be for a month till i save up for a stronger!

dattodude im going 2 get a diff for mine eventually but blown my bugdet wit rebuild and turbo and... ect but im going 2 get a VN v8 diff u reccomend that with tha ca18det what are u using cause ive got basically same hardware as u on my motor?

cant say i do but try Hot4's they usually have good section in back of good local mechanics up brissy im getting local mechanic at sunshinecoast 2 rebuild my ca! bit exxpensive but he seems really good!

if u go ca18det like me and a few other's u can get into 10's 11's bracket really tepending on traction usually..i have a mate who has a ca18edet ute who ran a 11.7 stock turbo with nos take of in 3rd gear hit nos then put it into 4th gear then u over the 400mtre mark cant wait 2 put mine on the strip when im finished!

i didnt no u can get fined far out that sux! im going 2 still lock up my diff i want 2 i like it! i find it easier 2 control! rather then one wheel spin both do constantly and i do agree it is dangerous but not if the driver has knowlage about driving with a locked diff!
