I will import a 1975 1200 GX Coupe (114 000 km, mint condition, completely original with twin SU carbs) to Tasmania in October this year from South Africa. To register it in my name, they tell me I will have to "bring it up to Aus Design Rules" standards. I believe the vehicle was build in Japan, how is it different from the 1200 GX that were sold in Aus in 1975, i.e. what will I have to have changed to "bring it up to Aus Design Rules" and what will it cost?
