Oh and sorry I didn't swing past last Saturday with the link, I ended up having to work all day in the end. I will have it with me on the day though and could even swing past sat morning to drop it off.

Just a quick reminder about this guys, if you not busy and want to get the old girl out this Saturday coming is the day. Weather isn't looking to bad either with some morning showers on the cards. I hope to see some of the members done there or even at the pre meet too.

The 1/10 is a Kyosho FW-05T but i have played around with the exhaust, the gears and the diff gears as well so it deffs goes a crap load faster then when i first got it. Havent had them out for a while now as i have been spending most of my spare time working on my ute or the silvia.

On road 1/10 rc car spent thousands on this thing over the years, goes close to 110km now and burns through a set of tyres in close to 20mins of running it

1/8 Truggy this cost a #OOPS# load but is basically a full billet built car, does 85km odd off road and still jumps like crazy as well

Thought seeing how my new rims turned up from Jap land today i would stick a pic up on here and at the same time start a thread where everyone can post pics of what they have bought recently, be it for your cars, for a hobby, for the house, the garage, what ever you feel is worth sharing with us

Any ways heres a pic of one of the rears for my s14a that im rebuilding atm, im going to run 18x10 +13 on the front and 18x11 +7 on the rears

Dropped the ute off this morning to get it all tuned and by lunch the tuner called me back to let me know that he couldnt finish it off, he got the carbys all sorted and running how they were ment to (jets blocked and even had a twisted throttle shaft) and started doing the tune he found that it ran out of at about 4000rpm but by that point it was already making just under 95bhp.

The mission now is to fit it up with an electric fuel pump and sort out some jets as well so that he can finish off the top end tune of the carbys, main thing is it is drivable so long as i stay below 4000. which is good as it means i can continue the run in process while sorting this all out

Question for anyone that reads this and have done an elec pump convertion, what pump did you put in as i have been told to use the Goss GE001 but looking at the info on it, it runs at about 15-27kpa and only flows about 40LPH. Would it be better to use the GE003 as it flows upwards of 80LPH but also at a higher pressure of 20-51kpa

it is a top gear sensor and yes it was put into sunny's, my ute had it as well but when i changed it over for a fresh build gbox that had the neutral sensor in it i just didnt hook the plug up as it only changes the fuel mixtures in the stock carbys

Sorry I didn't realise that I hadn't put a time on it other then for the pre meet

It will be going from 3pm onwards under the bolte, first lot of cars are to fill up the area under the bridge (on the left as you drive in) then fill the area straight ahead as you drive in and finally cars are to head to the right as you drive in if all other areas are full.

The last few meets they have had have pulled some big numbers but haven't gotten attention from the cops either as there is a no tolerance policy (no reving no burnouts no stupidity ) or your gone and never aloud back and details handed to the cops. I thought it might be a nice time to pull the cars out of the sheds and get out to a meet rather then a cruise as you don't loose your whole day.

If you need a map I can put one up as well, cameras are welcome and so are the arm chairs for the old farts to sit in rather then walk around and look at the other cars

Just thought some of you guys might be keen as it has been a while since the last meet/cruise

Hey guys dont know if anyone would be keen or not on here but i will taking the ute out for its first meet with the new engine in it on Saturday 30th to a JDMST meet under the bolte at 20 Lorimer St, its an arvo meet this time round so it is still light and not so cold as well.

Thought i would fire it up on here to see if anyone else would be keen, for the SE guys there will be a pre meet at 1:45 at Super A Mart on princess hwy springvale

If you want more info head to the forum and its all on there

Steve
