suspension set up for a 1200 coupe

I am starting to put thoughts together for the suspension set-up for my 1200 coupe build... I have a reverse leaf set up for the rear but need to start to consider what poeple are having success with for the front end.

The car is not a daily driven car at all.. it will only have race rally set up and the focus of this build is to build a serious tarmac rally car.

Love to hear your thoughts

I was driving up Jedda Road in Prestons this morning and saw an absolutley perfect looking 1200 coupe on the back of a trailer. It looked like it had just been painted. The colour was like the "tiger mica" on the VT series commodores.

If it is someone from this site... it is a fine looking car

There is a place in Perth that will make a cover up for your exact model car and ship it to your door for around $250. The thing is with this mob, that the covers are designed so that they allow air-flow and stop conditions that enables rust to form.

I have there number at work, i will post it tomorrow.

thanks for posting the pic for me. i still dont know why mine were not working??

got into contact with a mate who is a sandblaster yesterday and i am hoping that the sandblasting can be done within a week so i can get it over to get the cage welded into it.

My Son Jack although only 4, has been taken by the 1200 every minute he is awake he is asking me "Daddy... when can we do this, when can we do that" It is going to be great to have it all together and maybe one day see him behind the wheel.

Well about time i say... not that the Mrs would agree.

This weekend I along with my 4 year old son Jack got stuck into pulling down our new 1200. To be honest i was quiet surprised in the condition it actually is in. Other than a lit bit of cancer at the bottom of the A pillars and another small amount hidden in the passangers rear window under the chrome strip... the rest of the car is spotless!

In its previous life it has had a small hit putting a little crease in the inner guard on the passangers side and for some reason the passangers side strut-tower looks like someone has taken to it with a ball pain hammer for some god forsaken reason!

**SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO POST PICS, FOR SOME REASON MINE ARNT WORKING**

In this thread i am going to create a wish list of parts that i need. If there is anything in the list that you can help me out with... cashola is awaiting...

1.) Front Bar
2.) Rear Bar
