Comments: guards are stock totally stock and wheels sit flush. Could probably do with having the front guards rolled. Also the rim clears the strut by about 8mm but this will be increased with a soon to some brake conversion. Rears are a non issue.

Hi everyone. I know this is a big ask but might as well put it out there. Im on the search for a Dellow T50 5 spped conversion kit that they are no longer wanting and would like some cash for?

I realise there are 2 different kits (for the 2T or 3T box) but at the moment I will consider a kit for either.

Thought if someone wanted to off load one might aswell buy it from someone on here. Cheers.

Have just been for a drive and a search at a wreckers in the town of Paringa (3hrs nth east of Adelaide)
And they have a complete 120y coupe which they are wanting to sell whole rather than wreck it. I went for a look with the view to buy it but decided against it. Prior warning is that it is pretty rough however the thing does run and drive. Would need some love from a datto person to get her back to scratch but would b a good starting point. It's a 1200 with a 4spd. The guys told me if if isn't sold in the next few weeks it will b scrapped which would be a shame. I don't live anywhere nearby, I simply drove there for a look so I'm putting it out there for others who might b keen. They are wanting $550 for it, details are below.

Hi everyone. Just wanting to use your diagnostic skill although I bet it's something dead simple. Ute has always been a start first time every time job. It was driven to and loaded on the truck in Darwin 2 weeks ago. It has now arrived in Vic and won't crank over at all, not even with a starter/jumper pack, just clicks.

Battery is 6 months old, terminals are clean, etc. push start and she fires up pretty easy and drives fine.

Rooted starter motor? Other suggestions?

Thanks everyone, sounds like it should work out just fine. The wheels are 14x6 with +25 offset and the struts are 120Ys. Just need to suss out some tyres and I will be all set.

The gap is currently about 6-7mm at the moment between the rim and the strut.

Unfamilia - No idea what strut it is, they were in in when i bought it.

Just wanted to check with the experts, what is the smallest gap you should have between your rim and the strut? I know different wheels/offset/strut combos provide different outcomes but how small can the gap be? This is my situation at the moment..... is it enough or do i nees a spacer? Also, while we are here, is anyone able to ID the strut for me or what its from?

Welcome... Sounds like you want to do what I have done. As most of the guys have suggested replace all your bushes/rubbers with nolethane ones. Unless they have been replaced at some stage earlier your existing ones are likely to be deteriated/cracked and not that great.

Instead of 'flipping a leaf' in the rear I had the local suspension shop reset them. Means that now ute now sits slightly lower than it did before with 2" lowering blocks.

Replaced the front springs with the 'low option' from the king springs range.

Finally I swapped the original sway bar with a 120y bar. This is an easy swap for a great gain, hardest bit is finding one. I did however do a little write up on how to do the swap which might help you out.
