yehh still has standard cam yehh its idiling lumpy because the jets are to big i know that but im unsure of what jets to get..yeh im unsure about the bridge actually..naa not out of the carby coming out of the exhaust only when you are coming back down through the gears and its bad backfire to and real rumbly, its also hard to start and almost undriveable in first gear it will be good for a few seconds then just bog down then you have put the clutch it give it a rev then go again

The Carby has only done about 3000km so its basically new i bought it brand new from weber so yeh im just using the jets that i was supplied with im pretty sure there too big but i was going to leave them as im thinking of putting a cam in so yehh..The gasket was sucked in due to the backfiring apparently.. and i have electronic distributor which has been professionally fitted by a mechanic that knows what hes doing as hes been in the business for over 30 years and after all the recent mods it was tuned by the same mechanic running absolute perfect not even a misfire only abit lumpy on idle but no stalling..

Just abit of an update thought i would let you guys know i went to the mechanic that i take my ute to told him what was happening and showed him the gasket he reckons that its either a bad batch of fuel or because its premium fuel that therefore it its pretty much cleaning out all the gunk sitting in my tank and maybe blocked one of the jets of something as for the gasket he said its rare to suck in a gasket but reckons it did it because of the extreme backfiring its been doing which sucked it in. its booked in next Tuesday so he can have a better look.

Thanks

okk then fair enough anyway the main reason i used the premium fuel was for fuel economy..Anyway so i decided to take off the air filter and have a look and what i found was what looks like a gasket been sucked in?? and also on full throttle the secondary jet is not letting in any fuel could this be the reason of why it is bogging down? ill add some photos of the gasket?

yehh rightoo..Could it be that cause the jets in my carby are already too big but it was running fine as it was tuned on 91 fuel that now cause its getting more richer and cleaner fuel that it cant handle it hence the reason of why its running bad and bogging down, hard to start, and really back firey??
