i also took some time to visit our nissan dealer to check out on parts availability. Also took had quick looks with the b120 parts catalogue.

One truck is still being used by the Nissan dealership as its utility vehicle. It was parked beside a younger sunny pickup the ADresort.

we started pulling down the suspensions, axle, and all under chassis parts to the determine which ones need new replacements. Parts that were in good condition was sent for sandblasting and powder coating, while rubber bushings, shock absorbers, and tie rods will be replaced with new ones. I did not have much problem in getting mechanical parts.

after a few weeks i saw another ad in the net and someone was selling a pair. He told me that he sold his car without this mirror. we met up in Sta. Rosa around 40min drive from our place without traffic. (in the Philippines we gauge distance by the number of hours because of too much traffic jams) I waited in an intersection until He finally came with his 1979 Mitsubishi Lancer. Here's Mike with my BULLET TYPE FENDER MIRRORS. a few days later i sold the wrong pair and got less for the price i got.

i started looking for parts. since it is hard to look for new ones, i went to visit a surplus shop to check if i can scavenge something. Lucky, I was able to acquire a complete dash with all the guages and covers.

so this will mean i should use all sunny badges on the grill and steering wheel, not the D or datsun and will leave the tailgate blank (no badges or sticker?) will that keep my look within the 78-81 range?
i also have a datsun 1200 script emblem for the tail gate, but i dont want to mix up things so im making sure. thanks ddgonzal
