Amr500 queries

Hey guys been trying to search the forums and wiki for some more information about an amr500 setup

I have one laying around and am considering setting it up which doesn't seem like it should be too hard to fap up a bracket and make a tensioner setup run my 32/36 carb with already bigger jetting on blow through run fuel pump surge tank and change the timing curve and retard it like any forced induction

But my query is do these amr500 really make a whole lot of power being to be placed on a more than moderate built A15 and from what I can tell from the pulley specs and other sites will make around 5psi on the stock pulley (I really have no clue what psi it would make just a guess)

But setup as blow through with the moderate work on the engine am i really going to see much gain being how small the supercharger is have many people run some decent power from them?

Is a guess around 130-140rwhp plausible with approx 10psi from one or is it just going to be easier to just put the t28 turbo on and make the same power easily

I'm more wanting to put the supercharger on to be different but if it's too small would an sc12/14 be a better option

the issue has been found the gasket for the exhaust port had blown out thus creating the ticking noise just needing to replace the gasket to resolve issue

Still think ill go down the line of a water to air just to be completely different from everyone being small and super efficient is the biggest thing I like about it same as having a large air to air may be a couple extra hoses but any better reliability to keep the engine safe is good enough for me

Cheers guys I thought as much I was just curious if it could be a little way around it.. but was the answer I was expecting

Still guess a simple small radiator in front of the radiator already with a small pump will be just as easy simple 12v constantly running is still better than cutting the radiator support panel and will provide a much better cooling for the turbo preventing detonation and popping a head gasket from over heating

Just a quick query guys I'm doing my A15 turbo atm and just wanting to do something a little different mainly because I don't want to cut up a very expensive painted radiator support for an AIR to AIR intercooler. The air to water have great capabilities.

I have found a company frozen boost they make some great products and make a small effective water to air intercooler which in fact I can fit essentially anywhere and just run my turbo intercooler piping

But my main question is, with a water to air intercooler being small (13.5"x4"x3.5", Long Flow) would taping into the normal heater hose line for the A15 water pump have enough power to suck up into the intercooler and go back with no dramas is one question and the second in using the above method will it have a lot of heat soak or will the water still be cold enough being on the intake from the radiator?

here is the intercooler

Here is an image of the intercooler setup on a mazda miata

Just looking to see if anyone has a decent intake log turbo manifold for a series they are willing to part with that i can use for a draw through setup.. Or I'll have to make one up or just do blow through

Some reason not adding the pic correctly but got them today was advised for the cfm of my intake head and carbs and for how ill be driving and events ill be wanting to do a 40-50mm length velocity stack is best so I went ahead and have got 43mm billet Bell end stacks being that I already have a uni filter backing plate and cage with foam filter the cage is just not long enough so ill have to space the cage a little from the backing plate and still be able to use the uni filter along with it
