Hey Guys just enquiring im in need of a new ball joint from the draglink.

The thread has been stripped now i first thought to file it down and tap and die the tread in which has not worked :( which was unfortunate.

I have 3 questions:

1. Now the ball joint it's self is not in bad shape its just the thread, what im needing to know is the ball joint on the drag link one peice or is it possible to use a puller and get the ball joint out?

2. If number one is possible where can i get a replacement ball joint or is it best to go to a wrecker?

3. Is it just better to replace the whole draglink?? i.e from maddat (not sure if they sell draglink single or ill be up for $520 for a rebuilt front end)

Here is a fair bad picture of the joint any how

Could be something to look into. If you are really that interested give me an idea of what company you want to go through and ill source out the cost's and how long it would take.
