pull the spacer off you dont need to run it on the alternator.. and the shaft should be long enough unless there is a keyway spacer or something else on it pull that off as well use the most of the space for the pulley it should fit no issues...

The water pump should just be the generic A series long nose water pump which means it has a smaller centre guide and gives positive offset.. at the moment you need to work out is it either a long nose water pump which is the smaller centre or the short nose water pump which is shorter and has a larger centre

I can take a picture of the differences to show you...

Or check this link and see the differences explained:

I made the DIY and put up johns info for the Gilmer drive kit from kemotorsport and helped him with it.

You need to have the normal waterpump not the vanette waterpump.

And for the alternator the shaft should not be short at all you are ment to have the flat side of the pulley against the alternator not backwards so flatside out...

If you still have an issue just change to a newer and better alternater i.e a bosh one with an internal regualtor..

It is a direct bolt on kit, only difference will be the belt sizes needed if alternator is either high mounted or low mounted, but john can sort out the belts for you for the HTD belt

If possible throw up some pictures and if you are having issues putting up pictures go to tinypic or some other upload place and upload them there and paste the link to help make a sale.

Good luck

Yeah realized that single carb can make the same power and i have just found the copper floats that can be used.

It really is not exactly a great idea my twins already are a pain as you have suggested but run perfect once tuned and sync'ed correctly

If im to go boost ill just go down the efi line more reliability and can be tuned correctly for boost curve but if im to bother going EFI and Turbo it starts costing alot it would be cheaper to just sell the A15 as is built with the spare A15 and 3 5 speed boxes and just do a CA18det swap if i wanted more power and just swap in for less cost then sorting the A15 for boost

It was just more a curiosity question then anything as i already own the twin 45mm webers jsut to see if it was a plausible choice but if i was to do it be easier to just use one of them and do a draw through setup its quick and simple and will make more then enough power if i was to make that choice

Just curious boys is it possible to run a twin 45mm webber carb setup with a blow through turbo setup?
Im quite sure that the twin side draught webers would not be suitable as the floats may be an issue and implode under boost or am i incorrect and is it plausable to build into a turbo carb setup change accelerator pump jets and mains to suit and if plausable different gasket to handle the situation..

Or is it an absolute dumb idea and just go ahead and either do an efi setup with log manifold or even an 32/36 weber down draught turbo carbed with a top hat to suit..

Have seen a twin dollorto setup with turbo but never heard of a twin webber setup..

Want to do blow through not draw through setup

Hey guys im after a 3 core aluminium radiator if anyone can provide a decent company/manufacture id appreciate it or if someone has one for sale.

I got a quote of PWR radiators and the core alone was $550 all made up with a 10" thermo to suit was $1079.00 to be delivered which is rediculous but i know that it is quality..

Just after a decent one for alot less of the cost.. The ebay ones don't exactly give me much hope as i have had mates and seen forum posts of people advising that they had to redrill holes or change the brackets..

Unless someone knows of a good one that is on ebay..

Please help :)
