Pro 240c....I disagree. I did a bit of research tying to find a suitable turbo for an A15. According to my research a WRX was way to big. You would get boost at about 4500 RPM (from memory)
But I agree about the turbo of the 660cc engine being to small.

to remove the one way valves should take less than ten minutes. U may need to bleed the brakes again.

Can you expand as to why you pefer the ems in the order you have placed them??
Which ems gives the best drivability and are any of the ems in your list absolute junk??
I am trying to decide which ems to buy...my main priorities are cost, drivability / tuning ability, adaptibility to stock sensors, then ease of tuning.
I am a little suprised that u rate a Wolf ahead of a Haltech??

many after market ems cannot handle quad throttle bodies using vacum as a reference. They rely on throttle position. Quad throttle bodies apparently don't produce enough vacum.

I'm a sceptical bastard and if you ask me....a tuner will tell u to buy brand XX because thats what they sell..
Asking people who have brand XX computer already installed in their car is a better way to go.
I have extremely little knowledge on computers.. but having done a little bit of research the Haltech does seem like a good unit..It has plenty of auxillary inputs and outputs, plenty of maps and plenty of compensation maps. It does cost more than the cheaper engine managment systems such as : ems, microtech, wolf, hawk etc but at the end of the day...better spend a few more dollars and have a sweet runnin car than a car which runs worse than a carbied car.

Last year we built a car for less than 20 G. The last diff we had was a torsen from a honda civic? which was donated to us. We made our own housing for it allowing us to bolt a sprocket onto it. Queensland Uni ran without a diff and they managed to set one of the fastest times around the track. They used weight transfer to get around corners. It was a sight to behold.
The SAE comp is unreal..if u ever get a chance to see a car have a look.
Some teams make their own engines, shocks, pnuematic gear change mechanisms, data gathering systems, engine management systems, wheels etc... The University of Western Australia has a carbon fibre monoque chassis!!! It looks so sweet.
And Darren, can ya check/reply to my pm which I sent you??
To get involved..all u really need to do is go to uni. Some uni teams use : pshcology, mech eng, business, elec eng, mechatronic eng etc students.

400 kg?????????????????????????????
Dude...we don't build tanks!!!
Formula SAE cars weight between 160 - 280 kg without driver
Most teams do run diffs to help the cars go around the extremely tight corners..
Although the team that finished 3rd last year was diffless.
And chain stretch is not a problem as the cars travel less than 50 km during the competition.
And my name is not Brett. Brett hangs out at ozdat.

I think I smell manure..........
Yep.....Bullshit..
You don't go to Curtin...
The only team in WA that runs a CBR motor...................is..................
UWA!!!!!
Your identity has been revealed!!!!!!
You should probably run a Ford 9 inch diff. Any serious race car uses one.
