The black wire goes to coil positive, the other wire goes to coil negative. You also have to run a wire from near the vacum advance unit to earth.

I know for fact that a photo exists on this website showing the wiring I have just described. If mt expanation is not sufficient, maybe you should search for the photo.

by locking the diff you are creating a weak point!!!!!!!
If you kept an open diff...excess horspower would turn into smoke. With a locked diff u have more traction....So try and imagine what is happening inside the diff housing...

Freak....dumping the clutch puts a huge amount of stress on components. This is probably one reason yous gear is still in one piece.

This is what i keep harping on about....if you have limited traction, the driveline will survive.
As soon as you eliminate traction as the weakest link...then something else takes its place. In your case..........axles.

why not have 4 engines????? each powering a wheel. Instead of steering the car with a wheel, u could alter power outputs at the engines to get the car to turn!!!!

I thought that a thicker front sway bar is used if one has understeer??

If he reverts back to a stock 1200 swaybar (which is thinner) won't he end up with more understeer????????
