To avoid puddles forming....Maybe u should use one plate for intake and exhaust. DOOOOO NOt cut the plate. This will mean that the intake manifold will warm up thus decreasing the likelyhood of fuel sticking to the inlet manifold.
Of course this will reduce the density of air entering the engine.....

I disagree but I may be wrong.
When doing calcs to work out if something will #### itself, one uses the torque value, the rpm and the type of engagement. For instance, if u want to know how big to make a tailshaft to survive 100NM of torque. If the raw data says u need a shaft of X strength, thats all u need if the clutch is slipped at a low RPM. If u dump the clutch from 6000 RPM u will need tailshaft with twice the strength of the first shaft.
One must also look at the tyres used. If the diff is open and the tyres spin easily.......then the spinning tyres help keep the gearbox together. If one has a locked diff with extra sticky tyres.....dropping the clutch is not recomended.

maybe some of these people do that stuff due to insurance. Its not easy (soi've been told) to insure turbo/modified cars CHEAPLY. I reckon they look like twats but each to there own. They have some kind of passion for cars so good on em. Who really gives a S%@t if its a 4,6,8,10,12 or a rotary. Who cars if the cars bog stock, got a huge stereo, etc. Variety is the spice of life and I hold no ill feelings, towards baseball wearing people with wings attached to their cars.

I disagree with the comments posted. The size of the master may suit your application......but like u said...there is (may be) a residual valve in the system. This needs to be removed overwise the brakes will not fully dissengage. I'm pretty sure that these valves exist in all drum brake systems. It is nothing more than a spring and possibly a ball? The best palce to look for this is just under the master cylinder. Where u attach the pipe. IT shoule be somewhere there.

Are there any people in WA looking for a rust free 1200 sedan. I am thinking of selling but only if the price was right. It has new shocks front and rear, stanza rotors, volvo 4 pot callipers, an A15 with no inlet or exhaust. Have a 2 inch stainless exhaust system and a brand new stainless walker straight through muffler. Internally standard except for sports steering wheel and imprezza seats. still liscensed. has globe mags, a tacho, a remote boot opening device, no glove box.
If interested..please state rough amount u are willing to pay. I will only get in touch with u if the price is fair (I only want to recoup the money spent)
Also, have a stainless exhaust manifold with a RBH5 turbo, has oil plumbing all done. Car also has electronic ignition.
The A15 has new rings and bearings, has been honed.
WILL NOT SEPERARE SO DON"T BOTHER ASKIN.

u have used the word static in yur description...far enough....but one of the biggest factors affecting braking performance are the tyres.......the coeff of friction between tyre and road.
and another...point......smaller disks give u a bigger range of pedal pressures, (some wrote bigger discs) Big brakes might not even offer better braking. This is because the brake pad may never get into its optimum zone. eg,,, made up brake pad coeff of friction at 100 C = .3, at 200 C = .4 Big rotors may mean the pads never reach 200 C. sure u have more leverage....but..

I think the 180B struts are the same as the stanza strust? The girlock calipers are awesome. Are any of the 180B SSS panels any good???

try this
compress a spring, then put it in the oven. A normal house oven. Then, after say half an hour, remove the spring, let it cool, then uncompress it. This should lower your car somewhat.

L series engines are tough little bastards. They can be quite noisy due to rattle chain noise. I have seen an L18 in a ute so I know it's possible. I just don't know exactly what needs doing. One thing that definitely needs to be modified is the engine cross member. the oil pan on the L series is the other way round. As for diffs, a 180B diff center is bigger than a Sunny diff center so caution may need to be applied.

Maybe he's just a good guy, knowing that he needs to give x number of defects a month, finding a bunch of people doin the wrong thing......and lettin em of easy. If he was an arsehole I'm sure he could have found more problems. All in all I wouldn't be bitchin..
