I think its called a Beam and Torsion test. The Clubman 7 builders need to pass it to get registration - pretty crazy the amount of torsional twist they subject the cars chassis to

3 x Datsuns ( 4 motor rebuilds - 2 of them converted to turbo )
You have to love the build process over a 'benign' driver car (A Porsche Caymen would be nice)

Used pretty much the same setup as in "datsun 1200 for $1200" - lots of good info on that thread
Ignition/Distributor - 12 tooth motorcycle sprocket(one tooth omitted) mounted inside a gutted standard distributor
with hall effect sensor mounted off the side.
No crank angle sensor
ECU - Microsquirt
Injectors - Bosch/raceworks 725cc on E85
On the second turbo build I used Ls1 coils (simpler because they have internal igniters )
