Strangely I went and bought 4x new tyres and got them balanced. The car still pulls to the right but no where near as bad. It drives heaps better...

Thanks Andy

Ok I've sourced some parts locally and went and bought them. Got and A14 (which apparently was running fine when it was removed) with fly wheel and inlet manifold for $400. Got a spare 56-A gearbox for $60 and tailshaft for $50.
Here they are:

Tailshaft didnt work, ended up getting a custom shaft made

Guys looking at the procedure to replace using the aftermarket rockford part here:
http://rockforddriveline.com/Staked_Instructions.htm

Correct me if I'm wrong but it looks to me like the procedure forces the staked in joints out. Then files/smooths the staked surface off to be smooth. Then the after market joint is fitted and C clips hold it in.

If this is the case could you simply follow that same logic and procedure and buy something like this:
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NISSAN-DAT ... m53ed6a2566#ht_724wt_1163

To fit in afterwards?
