yea all the floors have rust, but just in sections so they can be patched relatively easily. Going to put new sills on too as they arent the best.
Couple of spots around wheel arches and the rear window lip needs attention.

Plenty to do but not the worst rust on a datto I have seen...

Ok guys so Levey and I got stuck into rust repairs today, starting with the boot lip.

Big thanks to Nige (Levey) for coming around and giving me a hand...

Start off, No boot lip:



This section was cut out of a donor sedan and clamped up:










welded in:










The donor car is very rusty and as you can see there are sections of that lip which damaged.
All in all though I'm very happy with it!

Is it to a h145 diff or a bw68?
I have both and can take pics and measure for you

I would never try and talk anyone out of doing awesome mods. I just wanted to make sure Dat20 knew what he was getting himself in for before he committed.
Seeing an engineering SR20 ute would be awesome! I hope he pulls it off!

My logic was theres heaps of half finished projects around, might have been less if people we told facts at the start...
