Hi guys I have a friend who is selling a 1200 Sedan which is currently sitting in my shed.
He is not a member of the forum so I thought I would put it on here on his behalf.
Body is in good condition has had rust repairs done at some point, needs engine gearbox & a interior, does have chrome trim lights glass ect.
The car is located in Murwillumbah which is on the NSW / QLD border.
If your interested call Justin on 0434 370 536 he is starting at $2200.00 but is negotiable on that figure.

Thanks for the replies guys, Its a 120Y so sounds like the SR is out of the question if I went a head looks like it will be the CA.

So by the law do I need to do something with the brakes & suspension to run the SR?
Thanks

Hi Guys I have been reading through some posts regarding engine conversions & power to weight ratios but I am still a bit confused.
My dilemma is I need a car with a bit more power just for day to day driving and to be able to easily tow a motorbike, I do not want to buy another car as my Datsun is my dream car it just needs more power and I do not want to have two registered cars.
I have been talking to a local mechanics who does a lot of engine conversions and is pretty keen to take on my Datto.
So if I was to go ahead it would either be a CA or a SR probably leaning more towards the SR though, and I was wondering with the current NSW engineering rules would I have to make any modifications to the brakes in order to make it stop from a legal point of view?
I will upgrade them as some point anyway but just to get it on the road could I leave the brakes as they are? The car is a 78 120Y and has drum rear and Disc front?
Thanks
Andy
