I just wanted to make sure that I am correct in thinking that a A14 or A15 will be a straight swap with the 1200 engine in a 120Y. So no issues with gearboxes, electrics ect.
Lastly does anyone else know of any other engines that will be a very straight forward swap.
I have a mate who can sell me a SR20 N/A with manifolds, computer, wireing loom. In need of a crank rebuild for $250.00 But by the time I have paid for the crank rebuild gearbox & other mods needed I dont think its going to work out so cheap.
So I am thinking about a easier conversion.
Ps if anyone has a engine that would be a easy conversion let me know, I have cash waiting.

Granddad, as far as I know the diff is standard so not sure about the ratio. Not sure about the price, I do not have a lot of knowledge as far as prices are concerned but all reasonable offers will be considered.

Jac I can get pics for you. The extractors and exaust look very new, still the original silver colour, again open to reasonable offers.

Before I sell the extractors & exaust I would like to sell the engine A12 That way the buyer can hear it run properly. The engine runs real smooth and no visable faulty sounds.

I am looking into a couple of other deals at the moment, as I would really like to sell the ute as is, to save alot of time and hassle, But if anyone wants to make a offer which I am happy with on any of the parts from it I will give them first refusal on them. I will know wether I am breaking the ute within the next couple of days.

Hi guys, I am looking at selling my ute if I cannot sell it as a whole I will probably end up breaking it for parts.

It has some suspention work done see first pic of the car, it has monroe rear stuts rear lowering blocks, and the front suspention has had the springs cut.

Interior is pritty rough needs new roof lining, I have new door trim on the door cards, new window wiper handle, door latch surrounds, door handles.

The engine is a 12A with a sports cam, webber carbie, extractors 2.5 inch complete exaust system

It needs a new battery, car can be started and run, I am pritty sure it will need a new gasket on the carby, as it has a slight whistle comming from that area.

Also has a new set of door rubbers.
And a pair of brand new rear fenders. It basically needs some bodywork and welding done.
I was thinging if I break it for parts I may get around $1600.00 but if someone want to come and give me $1400.00 no offers they can take the whole ute away.

Hi guys as the title says, I have a chance on picking up a good N/A SR20. And I am thinking about putting it into my ute, I was wondering what everyones thoughts are on this motor as far as performance, installation, and any good or bad experiences?
I have been doing some browseing on the forum and sofar they sound pritty good.
It will come with a ecu but still unclear what other mods will need to be done.

I have seen flares for sale on ebay a few times being sold by Australian suppliers.

The life of a lipo is determined by the Mah rating if your Nimh is rated at say 6000Mah and your lipo is rated at 3000Mah your Nimh will last longer.
You will save alot of weight running a lipo and gain lots more power.
Most brushless setups will run 7.4V-11.1 Lipo batteries as aposed to your 7.2V Nimh.
