So maybe the best way to do it would be to get the super charger set up on my little 1200 and run a low Psi and probably no intercooler. And build my self up a 1500 to run reliably with a higher psi with a intercooler?

Thanks mate, reading through your thread has nearly put me off, after doing all of that work and then the motor going pop would not be good. I guess its a matter of either beefing up my internals to run boost or charge a bigger motor? Also I would be doing all of the work myself because I live in a crap country town with no decent car mechanics. Unless I own a commadore or a tractor no one wants to know me :(

Hi, I am leaning towards the super charger my 1200 engine does have a mild cam with some portwork exaust and extractors also a webber carby. I am struggling to find some info on super charger the 1200 at this point I have no idea about what is needed to be done to run a super charger, I am hopeing to find a build thread somewhere that I can gather some info from.

Hi guys I have a couple of questions firstly am I right in assuming that you can get more power out of a turbo set up compared to a super charger set up on my 1200 engine? And secondly what would be the most straight / easiest to set up out of the two on a 1200 engine? I know the best route would probably be to upgrade to a bigger engine. But I really like my 1200 engine its a fresh build and has already had some work done to it so I would like to get some more use out of it. I just wouldant mind playing around with the performance a bit more. Thanks Andy
