Hi Andrew thanks for the info on the fenders thats good to know, im picking up a pair from brisbane tomorrow morning. I dont have any G clamps but I will buy some before you come up. I will give you a call and we can go from their. Thanks
Thanks for the advice mate, Im not going to make a complete resto like I planned, my main goal is to get it ready and registered in the next 8 weeks. I am going to replace the bonnet front and rear fenders, I have been trying my hand at some panel beating as far as the roof & doors are concerned. and with the help of a little bit of filler they came out pritty good, the interior needs a fair bit of work still. As far as the motor is concerned probably give it a service get the timming and carby's checked and I have to replace the carby gasket. As far as the paint is concerned being as the pannels come in primer black I am going to use black primer on the rest of the car and leave it in black primer for now. The reason why I am giving myself 8 weeks is because my main car has let me down and I am borrowing another car which I have to return in 8 weeks time. So I will be useing the ute as a daily driver and pick up a sedan for my next project :)
Hey mate yea unfortunatly I do, one is definatly a right off and the other one is also bad and full of filler. I know what you mean, seems over the last few days everytime I go out into the work shop I end up creating more work for myself.
I have to agree it should be the riders choice, I rode my bike to work for about 6 months and during that time I got pulled over about 5 times by the same cop, each time he did not recognise me and gave me a verbal warning as it was the first time I had been pulled up over it.
