Yes that does sound like a much simpler way of doing it, I like the sounds of that set up.
I already have the extractors, cam, exhaust, and webber carb.

I will be doing alot more research over the next few months, I just wanted to make sure that I knew that it would be within my reach to set one up before I commited to buying the SC.
I plan on building a A14-15 and charging that engine, that way I can beef up the internals to handle the extra power.
The SC I have now is going to need a rebuild anyway, I am thinking of getting a good local shop to install the SC because I will need someone to do the plumbing and fabrication anyway.
I think I have all the info I need now to proceed to thanks alot everyone for your input!

Ok thanks for that, So if I was to run the intake / throttle body that I have. Would I run that before the cooler with a throttle cable hooked upto it?

Welcome, looks like a great project. What engine was it running originally?

Ok thanks for that one question if I have the carby before the SC that means I would be sending a mix of fuel & air through the SC would that be ok?

Your carburetor would take the place of the throttle body because it has a throttle body already built into it. You just install it just as it is before the super charger where it will behave under normal circumstances because it is before the supercharger thus not experience any increase in air pressure. If the carburetor was 'being fed' by the supercharger, thus located mechanically after the supercharger it would be experiencing conditions dissimilar to it's normal use, if would be under pressure. You can work around this but the easiest format would be, carb to supercharger inlet and supercharger outlet to stock factory manifold.

I am just wondering how would I go about fitting my webber carby before the SC does that mean that I would have to figure out a way to plumn it into the intake of the SC?

The main reason why I didant want to run a EFI setup along with the SC is because I really want to keep it basic, I dont want to make a huge project out of it to begin with so just really wanted it simple and Achievable. Im not chaseing after as much power as possible.

Hi I have a front guard that you can have for free, it has a few dents and the paint is cracked, but from memory no rust.
And while your here thier is a 120Y in a local breakers from memory the guards are a little might need some attention, bonnet is rusted out.
But it has bumpers on it which are in mint condition so the brackets should be ok.
If you want I can go down thier and take some pics and get some more info for you.
I live on the NSW / QLD border so south QLD.
Thanks
Andy
