Ha Ha, total fluke.....but suprised seats are so heavy, can see why race cars only have one light weight seat. Quess its possible to remove a lot weight from a 1200 just by unbolting the seats and also carpet. Passenger seat -12kg Back seat -20kg (another quess) carpet -10kg (another guess) Fit 6kg race seat -6kg
Total -48kg
Thats a lot of weight loss from a couple of very simple mods.

Hiya, I had a similar prob when fitting up and a15 to a 4 speed and I hope I can help out a bit here.....It depends on what flywheel you are using as the a15 flywheel is thicker. You,ve prob got a standard a12 flywheel so use all the 4 speed stuff. I fitted an a12 flywheel to my a15 so I could fit it to a 4 speed.....

Hiya, i,ve been having a simila problem with my a15 except tp start with I could,nt even get it out of 1st gear. Sofar I have checked the timing and reset to 5 degre, adjusted the float in the carb and checked the accelerator pump, the pump had a rubber seal so I guessing that it had been rekitted already but the rubber part on top of carb was split (to be replaced). I had a good squirt with the accelerator pedel but a good spray when pushing the accelerator pump by hand (poss play in cable)

Today I rechecked the float level and relised it was out and was running way to lean, after resetting the lenel it went better but still not great. I checked the accerater pump, the piston seams ok but there is a tear in the boot on the top. Tommorrow I will richen up the mixture and see if that helps...

Theres a good squirt of fuel with the motor off and the float is about half way up the window, but I did notice fuel coming out about where the carb meets the manifold......
