Thanks Tomtom
Ive held onto the dash as its got no cracks whatsoever and the dash in it now only has one thin crack. I also need to take the windscreen out to drill out the three top dash screws as they are thrashed and stuck in there.
Ill find you on instagram!

Some more pics guys, Thanks benny for the wheels

Build update: Rebuilt front end going in tomorrow. I have the coilover and camber tops ready to bolt in, but yet to find some one to machine down the hubs for the s13 conversion up here...and the time to find them.

Have a slight vibration above 80km and need to re adjust the diff pinion angle, but holding off on doing until i put new leaf springs in the rear... currently on blocks and dont really like the harshness of them.

Chasing a couple of little oil leeks from the gearbox too. Thinks its from the front bearing cover but its an engine out job to fix :( Now wishing i had enlarged the tunnel...Lol

its running well and goes hard, happy so far but so far to go yet before the blue plate go on.

Hi,

I've got my ca to idle nicely at 900rpm.
However while driving and pulling up to a stop or slowing down (depressing the clutch) the idle sits at 1100 or 1200rpm.
It then settles back down to 900rpm after a short while.
Is this normal? Timing good, tps good. idle screw fine and no vac leaks.

Can live with it but just annoying

Hi guys,

Got the ca18 in and running. Have been driving it on the sly this past week
to shake out the little things, getting idle and timing right etc etc.
Found a vibration from round 80km+ Pretty sure it's the diff pinion angle.
Car is on lowering blocks in the rear. Realize I'll need a measuring tool but unsure on how to adjust the angle. Adjusting the gearbox angle is not an option..
Any tips appreciated. heard of people using wedges, machining blocks?
