I brought the bell housing from grand auto wreckers in sa....when i called them, they told me the ca18 bell housing is a straight fit. I said i believed otherwise from reading the forum here. So they sent me the bell housing with ca20 scrawled on it.....now wondering if they just couldnt be farked and sent me a ca18 bell housing? Was trying to avoid having to do the bearing change as i dont have the tools to do it. Looks like ill have to find someone locally who can do it :/ feeling annoyed

another question. I got the ca20 bell housing on. around the second smaller bearing there is a gap of a couple mm. does not sit in flush like the l series bell housing. does this matter?

Converting the stumpy box for the ca with ca20 bellhousing.....however, having a little trouble getting the old bell housing off. Its seperated and inch from the gearbox and from what i can tell its just the clip around the main bearing that is securing it now. Would this be correct or have i missed someting else? Cheers

Anyone else had to deal with threaded screws on the top of the dash? Ive got two :( Looks like a previous owner has had a crack at them with no luck. i tried with little bent screw drivers, wd40, rubber bands, flat heads and a couple of other combinations with no luck. Also the screws holding the heater controls are tight as fark.

Motor and gearbox out :)
Only doing little bits each night, but have plenty of time to get things right. This is my first ever build.
