Hi, looking for A87 peanut head and small cam (for torque can't sound lumpy) and any bits and pieces to make a nice little 2.0lt for my young boys off road racer. Going L20B auto.

I've read on here someone was talking about Suzuki H175 diff centres fitting H165 diffs, has anyone actually done this. I'm not worried about axle sizes as I intent welding the diff up anyway so I could just weld in the std H165 side gears in a suzuki centre if the centre will go in the housing.

Yeh the only thing that worries me is that this car will be competing in mud and water ALOT and I need it to be reliable and my concerns are with electrics on the newer engines.

Are the Z series engines any good, would it be 2.0lt. Did the Vanette come out with a CA engine?

thanks, yeh I have just started reading about the L series engine and some are saying that they are a good engine but not much has been said as to how they fit. CA18 and the SR20 have both crossed my mind but so far I haven't seen any N/A versions complete at a reasonable price, would be happy to pay around $1500 for a complete engine/auto setup running but most are incomplete.

Hi, has anyone done a 2lt Escort and auto conversion into Datsun 1200 ute before? thinking of looking at it. I am building my son an offroad racer from 1200 ute and he can have up to 2lt capacity and thought an Escort engine might liven it up a bit or an L20 series engine
