i had 2.5 inch blocks on my ute but was told by the engineer that they where illegal and 2 get through rego i had 2 put 1.5 inch blocks on. Im in NSW. Hope that helps. I may convert back up to 2 inch blocks, we shall see what the future holds!!!!

who_your_datty_1200 i would be pretty damn keen if u made up some of those stickers that where down the page a bit. The DATSUN 1200.COM ones. They look sweet. Well let us know whats happenin with it. Thanks mate!

Just wondering if like every other car club, the datsun 1200 club has a club sticker to put on there ride??. If not its just a suggestion. I sure would be proud to show im a dato fan. Anybody else agree?

There is a guy on here called wally who actually makes his own. I am awaiting a set 2 be made. Go to the search box on the left and look up clear tailights. Theres some pics and all in there. They look very very neat. Ow yea and wally if u read this, i am still awaiting a reply???? Thanks

i got quoted $1100 4 a 5 speed, so i scrapped the idea and went with a rebuilt 4 speed for $160

yea its an 81 model!!!!!. Also will the extractors i have on the 1200 now bolt up 2 the 1500????. im asking this because im putting a 42mm sidey on it and some bloke said the manifold and the weber wont fit, is this true?????

i just picked up a 42 mm sidedraght weber an am goin 2 fit it to either a 12oo or 1500 an was wondering is there an adapter plate for the stock manifold or do i need 2 buy a new one?????
