I've got a s2 bluebird electronic dizzy and it looks easy to try fit into a a14 block. Does anybody know if its just a case of grinding the shaft and does the gear actually fit on without mods? Is that all preety much all I have to do. Then just wire it up?

i was going to turbo it but i thought whats the point of getting more than say 100-110hp and not being able to get it to the ground. ive been thinking real hard what i want to do with the 1000 ute and i feel that its a car u could have for a lifetime. its a very versatile car and i dont want to take that away so i think a nice white paintjob with a red and blue stripe coming from the corner of the bonnet down to the bottom of the guard all new interior, this motor, 5 speed and exhaust. the body is getting a metal straightend so i hope to have this car for a long time god knows it took me 6 years to find one.

if people have been watching id like to thank some of the guys with their advice about building my engine i think im going to go with using my A12gx head thats been ported and bigger valves (JTS Head), twin su's, mild cam, 15 crank in A14 block, bored out and tunned length extractors and electronic dizzy. im trying to fit the A15 crank into a A14 block (because im only alowed a A14 in a 1000 ute) anything i should know b4 i do this.
Also what alternatives are there in the way of 5 speeds, i know there is info on datsun1200.com but im from australia and what car should i be getting my 5 speed from. Last part what can i do with my 1000 ute diff? i dont wanna go crazy but i think it will suffer the most. what fits out of what car anyone? thanx guys
