Hello again, I have another problem with my lights. I recently relocated the master cylinder under the dash And doing so I disconnected the wiring harness. But when I put it back together my lights are always on even when the switch is unplugged. I've already double checked the wiring to no avail. Dose anyone have any input to help me out of my situation?

Thanks for your input dd,tom, dattoman. Yes, I am using the xs1100 carbs because a friend gave me a set for free that were freshly rebuilt because he crashed his bike. I have decided to try and mount the original 11\16 MC under the dash using custom machined plate and bolts instead of welding, since I have no welding experience(i can't even tack weld right). but I have a machine shop in my garage, I just have to figure out a way to bolt an extension to the stock brake pedal to connect to the MC.

Their are tons of floor mount pedals from $30 for single to $80 for double without the MC on eBay. With MC is a lot more. But I was looking at the wilwood pedals w/o MC for $140.

i do not have the skill to weld to relocate the master cly and a reverse mount pedal is to much $300 but the floor mount is only like $120-150.

Dose anyone know if using a floor mounted pedal box and using remote brake\clutch reservoirs will clear for side-draft crab setup on LHD 1200's? i will be trying to fit xs1100 bs34 bike carbs.

i connected the tach to the positive ignition coil and it now works. also found the correct switch for the head lights, but tail lights dose not work.

i guess its a useless pulley then the engine block says a12.

my car did not come with a manual.. but thanks after a day of trouble shooting i found that the battery ground was connected to the block and not the body. that fixed the brake lights. but never solved the tach problem.

also i noticed the left bottom(LHD) pulley that goes into the engine bay was disconnected. what is this and where dose it connect? the previous owner told me this is the light switch is this right?
