finally, Sunny enters the modern age with a classy rectangular meter package

Rectangle dash was in
* nearly all Export B210s including 120Y/140Y/160Y
* JDM Sedan DX and Sedan GL
* JDM wagon/van
* except 140Z/160Z and asia markets which had round gauge dash

Large square clock was in the center gauge cluster, next to the speedometer, as in this photo:

If no meter was there, a blank plate was installed

If equipped with tachometer, a small clock was fitted off to the side:

[edit: corrected the MASK photo]

It is Google Vignette. The site has long had google ads on the side, but the Vignette is a new thing ggogle is doing

The biggest problem is in the last couple of week, some of the ads are taking forever to load. Not all of them. It depends on where the ad is from

This is H5610, the 10 meaning alternate source (second-source manufacturer). Identical in mounting and connecting as with H5600. It's not clear but it looks like it might say CITIZEN at the bottom of the dial

The back testing stamp says K.S. 45, perhaps meaning Kanto Seiki. [edit: dunno what the 45 means. I thought it might be the year, but Showa 45 would be 1970, which doesn't fit] B210 cars were introduced May 1973

I was able to find some clocks that have both Kanto Seiki and Citizen spelled out on the face, so the two companies had some kind of business relationship

27380-H5600 was the original large round clock in 1973

looks like the same 3-pin connector as the small clock

Round type dash (maru) was fitted to:
* all JDM Coupes
* Sedan GX

Large clock was in the GL and DX coupes next to the speedometer. The GX had a tacho there, so used a small round clock off to the side

There's one for sale on Yahoo -- brand new for $280
https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/t1122753785

This one is 27380-H5010, for 1977 models (from June 1976). Looks like the early version H5001 and since the connector is so simple, i reckon it will work without modification in any B210

The clock has CITIZEN on it, but suprisingly the warranty card says "KANTO SEIKI". As far as I can tell, they were never the same company.

Citizen Watch Co., Ltd.
シチズン時計株式会社

関東精器株式会社
Kanto Seiki Co., Ltd.

Kanto Seiki was a spinoff from Nissan since 1956, and made the speedometers and other Datsun meters. Now merged with Magnetti Marelli

B210/120Y had four clocks

* Square, compact
* Square, large
* Round, compact
* Round, large

Large 3-needle type and small 2-needle type. There are two types: square and round. The design is also stylish.

another early LZ head at auction. Did not sell at 450,000 yen (4,600 aud or 3,000 usd)
https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/h1102527288

Might be the same head as sold a year ago last January for 485,000

Quote:
Davie: What was auctioned was an early LZ14 head from around 1973, PB110 era, there's less than ten operational world wide. It was a bare head, and the price was kinda reasonable, but to recommission it would cost lots, no valves valve springs cams and more importantly cam buckets.

Auction ended 26 August 2023

Sunny Excellent TS Racing LZ14 cylinder head.

I don't know if those are new yet-to-be-used valve seats installed, but i'm surprised it looks to be just a one-angle type and not blended into the ports very well. Even a stock A12 has three-angle valve seats

The beauty of these head are not that they are just twin-cam, but more that they are 16-valve heads. A junkyard KA24DE would be more powerful perhaps, but this is period cool
