And sorry forgot to reply to this.
I'm just going to be running a NA peripheral port 13b rotor with 51mm idas and a s5 5 speed. Nothing crazy. Just sounds nice and is a bit of fun

So basically any manual Ute diff ay? I should prolly go with a hilux diff then due to parts being so readily available. Any year models better than others or are they all the same kettle of fish? Haha

Hey guys van you give me some suggestions for buying a diff for my 1200 project. It only needs to be able to cope with about 400hp out of a 13b rotor. Just need something easy to work with and strong and cheap. Waslooking at vl turbo diffs but tthey are dear It will be shortened and have a nee 4.11 centre put in later. Anyone throw me some ideas?

My thoughts exactly. So you think they will be fine with just fibre glass filler?

I attached a quick pic. This isn't my truck haha. If you see where the hooks are, directly underneath them there are little indentations in the outer quarter panel. That's what I need to fill up :)

I'm talking about those little divots that are every 30cm or so along the tray. Not a physical hole just that small 3x2 cm divot. I figured cutting out Lil blocks of plate and welding them in and then using a very minimal amount of body filler to make them flush. But another mate of mine thinks you can just use fibre glass bog and fill them and they will be fine.....

Hey guys just got to the point of cleaning the rim of the tray up after removing all the lip. The "hook holes" are remaining and I'm in a heated dispute about weather to fiberglass fill them or weld a small piece of metal in then will the remainder with glass filler? Would love to hear all your opinions!!!!

That 1600 looks amazing!!! Just the look I'm going for. Seamless and smooth ;) I've decided to weld her up. Tray lip has been removed as of today. Welding starts this weekend. I'll get the rest of the guttering off tomorrow. Handles are being shaved next week and tail Light slots are being shaved as well. Being replaced with led strip tail lights. Less noticeable on the body. I will start up a build tread on here so you guys can keep up with the build if you like. If anyone comes up with a link to a tailgate welding link send it my way! Love to see how other people have done it!

That does look good. I'm building a air bagged show ute atm though. And thought the seamless shaved look would be the best?
