I was a member for over 4 yrs with my wife with LGC and i can say,be carefull,Yes police are there and yes plain clothed officers are also, what you can expect is a citation/defect noticed issued from the pictures these officers take at the events and process later.
I wasnt going to say anything except as this cruise builds momentum perhaps your best be mindfull, your car is 100% roadworthy and engineered, carefull of the tyres.....its happened to many of a car sitting there ,bonnets up,then a few weeks later in the mail.
We never went to many events with our gts ,but always my wifes stock hg premier for this reason.
Goodluck it is usually a well organised family event
cheers anthony

In short "No" there all different to suit each turbo style eg T3 pattern requires a T3 flange
some of the common types are T25/28 ,T03,T04, then there is open and split pulse
hope this helps

a waste gate is set at a pre determined pressure say "7psi" when air pressure on the intake is at 7psi the waste gate opens by passing the turbo with exhaust gas, this stops the turbo increasing boost as it's missing out on the exhaust energy.
two types of gates internal inside the turbo housing run into your dump pipe and external which can be mounted to feed into your exhaust or dump into a open pipe sometimes called a "scream Pipe"
A blow off valve is set to measure vacume when the throttle close it opens releasing boost pressure to atmosphere,it's purpose is avoid compressor stall during gearchanges as the throttle shuts a pressure wave flows back to the turbo.....its meant to keep to turbo rpm up as it slows under load/backpressure
hope this helps

i found the restriction and it cant be altered in any way cant push past 6500 leans out,so im happy with what has been done with this setup.
Tme to MOVE ON!
The new head is nearly finished and will be this week, should have the new setup bolted up over the weekend
quick pic of the new chambers after being roughed out,as you can see if you compare the new and old pictures quite a bit has been changed with the reshaping and unshrouding of the valves.

Im still not able to reach my rev limit and with the motor running a basic tune im still running out of fuel with the bosch pump ,reg upgrades it was a little bit of a set back, but i think i have found where the issue is not sure how many more times the bottom end will handle a lean moment under load and boost time will tell.
