yes, and a14 mainly in the wagon
no
book says 865kg 4dr sed. 1200 about 720kg
no, stanzas had an L series and are only about 80kg heavier than a sunny
at a guess the sunny and stanza bodies are about the same weight
the sunny is easier to set up chassis wise than a 1200 , huuuge engine bay and trans tunnel
coil spring rear
they are the newer generation of the 1200 without the character
i've owned both

they look good , i had a 1200 coupe that had a set of those stainless steel weather sheilds. I haven't seen them again til i saw a set on a japanese ute . my coupe was a personal import from indonesia , i think, that was back in '86,'88 some time there

to fit an E series into a 1000/1200 the dizzy will foul on the firewall & i dont think the gearbox is a bolt up, some modifying required
