I'm about to turbo my a15 and with 9.9:1 hope to get 4-6 p.s.i. , probably create some headaches but it should be worth it. I dont like the idea of low compression off boost, I had a VL Calais and it was lame off boost.

or go through a shock absorber catalog and find a shock with the same fittings but with a shorter stroke, preferably from a heavier vehicle, (valving will be a little stiffer).

this is a simple change over it will all just fall into place the exhaust flange is not a prob. i've only seen 3 bolt flanges on import engines, i thought austr. delivered vehicles had a 2 bolt flange? it doesn't really matter a14/a15 what ever you can get your hands on in reasonable cond.you can change your flywheel overto the new eng.(lighter) good luck!
