I also noticed the missing vent hole. I thought it must have been plugged at some stage for some reason.

Here are some more pics of the other head. I found it quite strange that I got both of these heads at different times and from different people, yet they seem to be the same indecipherable casting.

The valves/ports have already been enlarged so I can't use those to identify the head. The sizes have already been listed above. Here's some more pics:

Hey all,

I could use some help identifying 2 heads that I've recently acquired. They both seem to be the same casting, only 1 has had a substantial amount of work done to it and the other seems to be a virgin head. My first thought is that they could both be H10 heads, let me know what you think.

What I know about the worked head:

- A12 Head
- Ex Formula 3 last used in 1990
- Ran with 76.85mm pistons at 1298cc
- 12.5:1 compression, milled to 72mm thick
- Brass valve guides
- L16 Valves machined down
- Intake valve = 38.8mm
- Exhaust valve = 31.65mm
- Intake port = 32mm

I'm sure you'll get good interest for this, but I Have a few questions that might help out your sale.

- Which Competition 5-speed is this and which gearset does it use?
- Where are you located?
- Are you willing to freight?
- Any pics?

Goodluck with your sale

Ah, so you're the one that bought that dash, they sure are commanding a high price!

Replica door cloth can be found here:

I was thinking of getting a set for myself. Considering the coupe door trim won't fit on the ute without modification, this might be your best option anyway.

Great gear by the way, I look forward to seeing the finished product.

Fantastic build.

I'm loving all the choices you've made. I can't say the camo pattern would have been my first choice, but I'm surprised at how well it works, it's going to look great in the car. I wish my build was making progress like this!

Looks like a South African model to me. Here's a link to a similar one from a few years ago:

Looks like this one has had a re-trimmed interior and a tarted up exterior, possibly respray too by the looks.
