I'm building a ford xflow and need some help here. I'm using the datsun rods Which are 53.00mm(2.0866 in) and i would like to put them on 52.91(2.0831 in) crankshaft.

Are they any over size bearings that could make this fit, or could i just use the rods as they are with the standard bearings on the ford crankshaft??

HElp needed desparately...dont mind it aint all nissan

ps.I'm planning on using the L20b crankshaft in the future, but would like to use the rods right away if possible.

i'm building an engine at the moment using a 81mm bore. i have a piston which looks just like a sr20 one but is about 81-82mm, with the same compression(by looking at it). It has 58 Y stamped by the gudgeon pin hole on each side and 45-1(nissan symbol) 60j41-2.

Does anyone what nissan engine this came from and the exact specs would very much be appreciated.

thanks.

performance wise which Su carbs(twin setup) would work lovely on a 2L SOhc cam engine. Engine has about 11.1 CR, big ports and vavles and a stage 3 camshaft, with 290 in and 300 degrees ex of duration, and kicks in from 3500-7500 rpm?

A pic of each would be very much appreciated.

thanks alot.

this info is really helpful guys. Thanks alot.

I know it is easier to go with the suck thru setup but i would like the challenge of doing the blow thru setup so i could incooperate an intercooler and make things more efficient.
