Jus remembered my distributor is at the back of the engine and i dont want to cut my firewall jus to fit the distributor.

Are they any crankfire systems out there i could use. or could i make my own, since i have seen some crankfire kits on A series datsun1200.com.

p.s. does anyone know how much HP an early 90's sr20de makes. Is there any sites that can give u the specs for the sr20 engines in the years they were made?

well since the fitting problem is solved.

Do u guys think 200hp could be made from an aspirated sr20.

so u are telling me there is no way i could get a fwd sr20 to fit into a rwd sunny

We will have to see on that one....is there any body here that has tried to fit a fwd engine into a rwd car.

What could be so different; the only things i see i will have to do is..
1) use webers as the intake is facing the firewall.

2) Fabricate engine mounts.

3) build a plate to bolt my ford 5 speed box unto


p.s. am i wrong when i mentioned the things i need to fit the engine.

another problem.....thinking of putting this engine in a B310 sunny..but the thing is the throttle housing is going to face the firewall (since the engine came from a fwd car) is this a problem. Or could u jus get a hose with a bend and bring the air hose to the filter at the front.

133hp . this model sr20 is the one from out of the bluebirds and other front wheel drive cars, with the plain vavle cover. It also has multi-point injection.

p.s. is there any differences between a newer sr20de and the old one. i.e. stroke & bore. If there is no difference how comes the newer sr20's make more power than the new ones.

yeah by the way...does anyone make full race cams for sr20de engines.

I would like to modify this engine fully what else can be done.
