Interested to see location and what series it is.

Well it got rego yesterday. And because it hasn't been registered since before vicroads changed from a paper registry to an electronic database, there is no record of the car since apparently it's quite common for the documents to be lost, so it's a 1972 car with its date or first registration as of yesterday haha!

Hey all.

Have had this ute for nearly two years, bought a lot of parts and received a lot of great info and advice from members of this forum, it's about time I started a build thread.

It's getting a roadworthy tomorrow and rego next week. It was resprayed and somewhat restored by a guy about 5 years ago and then sold to another person who badly neglected it for 3 years. I'm trying to save the old girl.

Came with an a14 and 120y disk brakes, tailgate latches removed, reflectors deleted, rear liscense plate panel smoothed, basically the whole rear end made to look cleaner.

Since owning it I've repaired and retrimmed the seats, fixed a lot of rust. New dash pad and coupe dash, h4 headlights added relays, replaced a lot of stuff like the ignition barrels and door seals and plenty of basic maintenance.

Yeah the same guy has had a few different ads on gumtree and the price is always something along the lines of 12345 or just something random. Would love some of these but god damn I need to stop hoarding rare parts and just put my ute on the road haha.
