How about a remote float bowl sitting on top of the A/C TX valve?
In the 60's in QLD it was common to wrap an insulator round the fuel line where it circuited the tappet cover just above that hot thing called a Head .
Funny how heat rises.
Sorry nothing sensible to offer, tis the silly season.

Thats interesting that VicRoads will not allow Fiberglass guards after '72, but will happily register post '73 Corvette's, where the WHOLE BODY is fiberglass.

And all the way up to now lotus have been all f'glass bodies & the little Elise only have bolt on f'glass outer shell components

All the ones I have worked on have coloured globes.
I think that coloured LEDS would be the better way to go if available.

My utes compliance plate says 4/85 it is A12, 4 speed manual, 4 wheel drum, Stealth dash light (handbrake), clock no tacho.
I got it off the original owner who bought it new here in Melb for $3400.00, i haved known him for 10+ years he might still have papers.
Check your pm Buff, we can compare engine #'s

Now, does anyone know if the chassis rail are the same width from the firewall through to the radiator!

On my ute they are the same width from the firewall through to 50mm in front of the front engine xmember bolt, then they widen, only on the inner edge, and start to come inboard up to the front lower tie bar.
